Nearly three full years since last we heard from him with 2008’s ‘White Spiders’, he appears like a mirage with two alternate universe classics. Jesus Christ may be the most daring A-side we have ever heard with it’s drones, screeches, and clanging recalling the glory of the Velvet Underground. The B-side is an alarmingly gorgeous New Orleans heart breaker entitled A Marigny Christmas. Both songs feature the downright spectacular drumming of New York’s Deric Dickens. The red and white 7″ is available as a website exclusive, the single is also available on digital at all good mp3 stores. (24 Hour Service press release)
