Bill Majoros (Hamilton, Canada) is The Foreign Films, but that wasn’t something that happened overnight. As a teenager he was touring the world playing packed arenas, and empty bars. His last band Flux A.D. (a favourite of Daniel Lanois and Robbie Robertson) splintered into some cool projects with Julie Fader and Graham Walsh having success with Feist, The Great Lake Swimmers, and Holy Fuck, but it’s with The Foreign Films that finds Majoros catching up with his long gestating ambition. His e.p, The Foreign Films EP, has already been hailed on Exclaim!, and throughout the blogosphere. To celebrate the physical releases it’s been extended to include three lost gems.
